Oh man...I wish my bones flexed as much as this jammin skeleton's did!  This looks like total Skellifun!

Using just black and white seemed like the perfect color combo. Shimmer was added to the skeleton, black splatters and black strip.  I think young teens would get a kick out of this card.

Shery from STAMPlorations has given us this spooktacular image to download and use.

Using gelatos the orange smears were added.  Mustard Seed distress spray dripped from the end of the sprayer added some splatters.  Then, black ink was stenciled on to add the swirls and stars and numbers were stamped.   After printing the image, it was colored.  The black spider web frame was cut on the cricut.  The sentiment was embossed on black paper and this spooktacular card was complete!

Thanks for stopping by and have a spooktacular day!

Fall Coffee

I am having fun with the acrylic block stamping and it  adds such  a warm, cozy, colorful fall background.  The spoon is cut from scraps and the coffee cup is a copper beauty.

This is my September coffee exchange card and she  has already received it!

Happy Fall

Carmel Apples, leaves crunching under your feet, scarecrows and a trip to the pumpkin patch to pick out that perfect pumpkin for carving are the joys of fall.  I also like putting on the hoodie and watching the leaves burst with color.  Yes, I think fall is my favorite season of all!

After running the card base through an embossing folder, versa mark was applied.  Gold embossing powder was spread on and heat set.  The scarecrow was colored on the  inside of the card.

Have a great  day!

Are you looking for a fun way to make cards?  This is like the Trix rebbit that magically appears. An image was printed on cardstock using laser  print ink.  A piece of foil was placed on  the printed part and it was sent through the laminator.  When the foil was  pulled  back, the image retained the foil.

The base of  the card was embossed.   The image piece  was layered with silver cardstock and magically your card is finished.

BackTo School

It is official, the start of this school year is August 31st.  The chatter of each student greeting each other in the halls is imminent!  I have a junior this year and he has the notebooks and pencils ready to go.  Just waiting for the yellow bus to appear...but  he has reminded me...one more week of sleeping in!

This card used the acrylic block stamping technique.  The pencil was made with Copics and a strip of paper.

Thanks for stopping by.

Peace ATC

With everything going on all over the world these days, we need a little peace!  Everytime I see the peace sign in jewlry, I buy it...don't ask me why.  Perhaps it reminds me of the tie dye and peace emblems from my childhood.

After making the background, a stencil was used.  Paint was applied to  the A  and it was stamped.  The rest  of the  word  was stamped  and silver  thread and a peace charm was added.

Wishing you a peaceful day.

Sending You Love

Sending you love and lots of it!!  I have not made an ATC and this was fun!  There is just a little space to work with  and  you need to  plan your design before you begin!

I used an envelope stamp that had a heart and began stamping and masking to fill the space.  The love embellishment had been sticking to everything on my workspace and needed a permenant home!!

Adjust Your Sails

The pessimist complains about the wind, the optimist expects it to change, the realist adjusts the sails~Sam Arthur Ward

What a great quote for a nautical card!

After stamping and masking the ship, a stencil and circle template add the background sun.  Two sails were fussy cut and popped up. Afew waves of water and sentiment complete the card.

Just For You

Scrafting weekend with family is so much fun.  It is a time to catch up on what is going on in their families lives, laugh and create.  We also get to use their crafty supply goodies!

This background die adds texture and fun to the background.  A few die cuts dipped in purple oxide and the background square with some green oxide makes a very simple card.

This weekend, the Color Bursts and white paint created this galaxy background.  It amazes me to see the Color Burst in action spreading across the paper.  When you add colors you never know what the finished look will be.

The space ship was colored with Copic markers.

I Do

Something old, something new...that would be this stamp from So Suzy Stamps.  I was so excited to ink it up as my son will be getting married and I had a card exchange that I needed to make cards for.

These cards with the gold inlay and the die cut edge are from Michaels and they add such a formal and elegant base for this card.

Christmas in July

Christmas in July is perfect to use this cute snowman stamp!  I am making some cards to sent off to Send A Smile 4 Kids.  This card is more masculine because I wanted the boys to have a selection to pick from.

The snowman is covered with a sparkle gel pen to add some sparkle!

For The Birds

My grandson, Riley, loves to feed the birds.  He checks daily to see if the feeder is empty.  I decided to make him a birdfeeder, which in itself, was a task.  It took a village to make this birdfeeder...but that is what you do for your grandchildren!!  Now it is ready to send to him and I wanted to include some cash for bird seed and some Pokeman cards.   It is his 6th birthday too.

This is what I made to hold the cash and cards.  I took an envelope and folded the edges to the center.  Then, the flap folds down.

The back of the envelope was decorated...the more birds to celebrate, the merrier!

The big bird's wings had plaid paper on them.  The envelope was also lined with plaid paper.

Now, to box this up and send it off!  Happy Birthday Riley...may the birds frequent your feeder and stop to wish you happy birthday!!

It's five o'clock somewhere right?  What do you do with a pineapple die cut?...you emboss it pirates gold embossing powder and make it sparkle!!

Blending Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the background.creates the bottom layer.  Then I misted a background stamp and placed it on to texture the paper a little.  Background stamping was done in Black Soot Distress ink.  Going through my stamps, I found every word I needed to create the sentiment...it was pretty close though!!

Thanks for stopping by and be like a pineapple, stand tall, wear a crown and be sweet inside!!

Vitamin Sea

The picture below made me giggle and it HAD to be shared with you!  It is  the inspiration for my card today.  When I think of the sea, I think of sunshine, waves, sunglasses and a lighthouse.

Yup, you will find all the listed items above featured on this card...plus some bling!

So the crab slipped back into the sea and I used bling on both sides of the glasses.

Sea you later...giggle!
